I started the Diabetic Nerd with the urge to share my story. I saw multiple people on my social feeds who dared to share their experiences, and I found that I too had a few bits to share.

I started this blog in hopes that I can help, and connect with people who know what it is like. I have taken to the internet many times to figure out what a symptom meant, and over the years I have gained an understanding of this whole diabetes thing. It is scary, I know, but having someone who knows what it feels like can be a game changer. I hope and strive to be that person through this blog!
